part i:  testing the waters of the internets.

as being a person who finds all new tech and gadgets to be both fun and easy to use, blogs are a different beast!  how is this easy?!

the tech savvy people of this world can be split into two groups:  users and explorers.  so then, a blog is very easy to use:  click a button here to post and click a button there to comment.  rinse, repeat, and get yourself your very own online cult.  beyond the simple use of one's blog, however, is territory reserved for the explorer.  tracebacks, pingbacks, permalinks, html, xml, php, css...  an endless list of words crafted contemporary wordsmith nerds to describe the features of the modern day diary.

it's fun!

yes, let's not forget that this is fun.  no matter what arrangement of triple or quadruple letter acronyms we call the platforms  that we work on, this is entertainment:  a newer, tougher puzzle.  why is the search bar so ugly?  how can i change that button?  what does this do?   oops.  the user-gone-explorer has gone too far.  stepped one too many steps.  and broke the interwebs.

so then, this blog will be about fun, dedicated to the users and the users-gone-explorers.  a sampling of thoughts and a smattering of humor, all operating to an easy to hum tune.
